John A. Kraeutler
Executive Chairman
John A. Kraeutler has more than 44 years of experience in the biomedical industry and was appointed Executive Chairman in October 2017, Chairman of the Board in 2014 and Chief Executive Officer in 2008. Prior to this, Mr. Kraeutler was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Meridian Bioscience, Inc. since 1992. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Kraeutler served as Vice President, General Manager for a division of Carter-Wallace, Inc. Prior to that, he held key marketing and technical positions with Becton, Dickinson and Company and Organon, Inc. Mr. Kraeutler is a member of the AssureRx Board of Directors. He is a Director of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, and is the current Chairman of the Board, Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America. He is also a former appointed member of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission.

Jack Kenny
Chief Executive Officer
Jack Kenny has more than 24 years of experience in the biomedical industry and serves as Meridian’s Chief Executive Officer, having joined the Company on October 9, 2017. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Kenny served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, North America, with Siemens Healthcare, from 2014 to 2017. From 2012 through 2014, Mr. Kenny served as Vice President and General Manager, U.S. Region, for Becton Dickinson, Diagnostic Systems. Prior to 2012, Mr. Kenny held executive roles at Leica Biosystems, Danaher Corporation and Quest Diagnostics.

James M. Anderson
Retired President and Chief Executive Officer Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center
James M. Anderson is President Emeritus of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since 1996, until his retirement in 2009. His appointment as President and CEO followed 17 years of service to the Cincinnati Children's board of trustees, including four years as chairman. Prior to joining the staff of Cincinnati Children's, Mr. Anderson was a partner in the general corporate department at Taft, Stettinius & Hollister and president of US operations at Xomox Corporation. He was former Chairman of the Board of the Cincinnati branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. His extensive civic involvement includes service to the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Cincinnati Museum of Natural History, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the College of Mt. St. Joseph.

Dwight (Dee) E. Ellingwood
President, D.E.E. Strategy Consulting, LLC
Dwight E. Ellingwood has 35 years of experience in health care strategy, planning, innovation and marketing. Mr. Ellingwood is a Teaching Professor at Xavier University’s Graduate Program in the Department of Health Service Administration. He is also the President of D.E.E. Strategy Consulting, LLC, partnering with leadership in healthcare, innovation, education and the community. Mr. Ellingwood previously served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Communications and Public Affairs at TriHealth from 2014 to 2016, Lead Executive for Cincinnati’s Collective Impact on Health in 2014, Senior Vice President of Planning and Business Development at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center from 1997 to 2013 and Senior Vice President at Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas from 1990 to 1997. Prior to 1990, Mr. Ellingwood was a Senior Partner in a health care consulting practice in Salt Lake City, Utah.

David C. Phillips
Co-founder Cincinnati Works, Inc
Mr. Phillips serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Phillips spent 32 years with Arthur Andersen L.L.P. His service with this firm included several managing partner leadership positions. After retiring from Arthur Andersen in 1994, Mr. Phillips became Chief Executive Officer of Downtown Cincinnati, Inc., which is responsible for economic revitalization of Downtown Cincinnati. Mr. Phillips retired from DCI in 1999 to devote full time to Cincinnati Works, Inc., an organization dedicated to reducing the number of people living below the poverty level by assisting them to strive towards self-sufficiency through work, and his financial consulting services. Mr. Phillips served as a director of Cintas Corporation and Summit family of Mutual Funds.

John C. McIlwraith
Co-founder Allos Ventures
John C. McIlwraith co-founded Allos Ventures, a venture capital firm, in March 2010 and has served as a Managing Director there since that time. Prior to founding Allos Ventures, Mr. McIlwraith was a Managing Director of Blue Chip Venture Company, a Cincinnati-based venture capital firm, which he joined in 1997. He has served on the board of directors of more than 20 healthcare or information technology companies including Assurex Health, Inc., an informatics-based precision medicine company providing treatment decision support to health care providers for behavioral health conditions, where he served as lead director. Prior to 1997, Mr. McIlwraith served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and General Counsel of publicly-traded Quantum Health Resources, Inc., and was a partner in the Jones Day law firm.

John M. Rice
Managing Partner of Triathlon Medical Venture Partners
Dr. Rice is the founder, and since 2003 has been the Managing Partner, of Triathlon Medical Venture Partners, a venture capital firm that invests equity capital in early and expansion stage life science companies. Since 2014, Dr. Rice has served as the Director of Life Sciences at CincyTech, a firm that provides advice and capital to entrepreneurs and helps research institutions commercialize technology through startups. He has served on the board of directors of several privately held healthcare companies as well as several academic advisory boards.

Catherine A. Sazdanoff
Chief Business Officer of Strata Oncology, Inc
Catherine A. Sazdanoff, business advisor to Strata Oncology, Inc., a precision oncology company. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Neurocern, Inc., a dementia management company. Ms. Sazdanoff is CEO and President of Sazdanoff Consulting LLC, specializing in business development, management and strategy consulting, and she was a strategic advisor to mProve Health LLC, a mobile health technology company. From 2006 to 2015, Ms. Sazdanoff held a number of executive positions with Takeda Pharmaceutical International, Inc. including Vice President, Head of Corporate Projects, VP, Global Business Development and VP, Corporate Development. Prior to her time at Takeda, Ms. Sazdanoff spent 22 years with Abbott Laboratories, where she held numerous executive positions.

Lawrence J. Baldini
Executive Vice President and President, Global Operations
Lawrence J. Baldini has more than 36 years of experience in the industry and was appointed Executive Vice President and President, Global Operations in March 2016. He was appointed Executive Vice President of Operations and Information Systems in 2005, and had been the Vice President of Operations of Meridian Bioscience, Inc. since 2001. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Baldini was Director of Operations (Sensory Systems) at Instrumentation Laboratories, where he previously held the title of Operations Manager and Facilities Manager.

Marco Calzavara
President, Meridian Bioscience Europe
Marco Calzavara has more than 24 years in the European biotech industry. Mr. Calzavara was founder and CEO of the Bioline Group which manufactures reagents for molecular biology. Bioline was acquired by Meridian in July 2010. In April 2011, Marco Calzavara was appointed President of Meridian Bioscience Europe.

Melissa A. Lueke
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Melissa A. Lueke has more than 30 years of finance experience and joined Meridian in January 1999 as U.S. Area Controller. She was appointed Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary in January of 2001, and was appointed Executive Vice President in December of 2009. Before joining Meridian, Ms. Lueke was Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Susan D. Rolih
Executive Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
Susan D. Rolih has more than 35 years of experience in the industry and was appointed Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in 2001, Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in 2008, and Executive Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance in 2013. Before joining Meridian, Ms. Rolih was Corporate Vice President – Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Immucor, Inc. where she previously held titles of Vice President - Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, and Vice President-Technical Services. Ms. Rolih also held positions of Manger of Education Services for Biological Corporation of America, and Education Coordinator for the Master’s program in Immunohematology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Lourdes G. Weltzien
Vice President & General Manager, President Asia Pacific Markets
Dr. Lourdes G. Weltzien has more than 22 years of experience in the Life Science and Diagnostic industry and joined Meridian in July 2008 as General Manager for the Life Science business. She was appointed Vice President in September 2013, and President of Asia Pacific Markets in July 2016. Before joining Meridian, Dr. Weltzien held various President, Vice President, and Manager positions at Sigma-Aldrich Corporation (now Millipore-Sigma) since 1994, which included full P&L responsibility in Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Product Management in North America and in Europe.

Amy M. Winslow
Executive Vice President, President and CEO Magellan Diagnostics
Amy M. Winslow has over 23 years of experience in diagnostics and medical devices, and joined the Company as part of Meridian’s acquisition of Magellan Diagnostics in March 2016. Before joining Magellan in 2011, Amy had a strategy and marketing consulting practice and prior to that served as Vice President, Marketing for Athena Diagnostics (acquired by Quest Diagnostics), a specialty reference laboratory focused on novel diagnostic testing services in neurology, nephrology and endocrinology. Amy began her career as a product manager at C.R. Bard and also served as a Marketing Manager for Genzyme Transgenics.
