Our broad product menu offers more than 200 products to meet our customer's needs. Our Cincinnati global headquarters houses research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, and administrative offices. Meridian employs approximately 400 people worldwide. Meridian has a long history of profitable growth. In our first full fiscal year after going public in 1986, Meridian reported revenues of $5.2 million and net earnings of $.5 million. Meridian reported results for fiscal 2008, posting sales of $139.6 million and net earnings of $30.2 million. In fiscal year 2008, sales grew 14%, and earnings grew 13%.
