At Meridian "good" is not enough…therefore we offer additional benefits and incentives to our employees. In this way we strive to convey that our success is due to the outstanding commitment of each and every Meridian employee.
Education and Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance in the form of reimbursement is provided to employees who take courses to improve their skills and competencies of their present jobs. The reimbursement program covers the costs of tuition, registration fees, and textbooks on a sliding scale based upon grade attainment (e.g., A = 100% paid tuition). Reimbursement is limited to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year.
Employee of the Month
Meridian sponsors an Employee of the Month Program, which provides a monetary reward to recipients. An employee is selected by his/her peers for actions that are above and beyond the requirements of their job.
Service Anniversaries
An employee’s five, ten, fifteen, twenty, and twenty-five year Service Anniversary is celebrated with a presentation from the President of the Company as well as rewards such as monetary, stock options, etc.
“FUN”ATIC Company Events
The employees at Meridian are entertained during the year with a variety of events planned by the “FUN”atic committee members. Some of the major events we enjoy are the Holiday Party, Summer Family Picnic, Employee Appreciation Day, and the New Year’s Kick-Off.
