Short Term Disability This optional plan provides a level of income protection should an employee experience a short-term illness. As a feature to this benefit, this policy is portable and the cost does not increase with age. Long Term Disability This employer paid benefit provides income protection by paying a percentage of the eligible employee’s salary in the event of an extended illness subsequent to the first 90 days of illness. Life and AD&D Insurance This employer paid benefit (paid at 100%) affords employees up to two times their annual earnings in Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance. Supplemental Life Insurance To supplement the Meridian provided Life insurance, this optional plan allows employees to purchase additional life insurance not to exceed $500,000.
