Description
Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP combines the latest advances in buffer chemistry together with an optimized concentration of a strand-displacing DNA polymerase, and proprietary lyo-excipients allowing ambient temperature stabilization through lyophilization. Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP contains dUTP and has been designed for fast, sensitive and highly reproducible DNA target amplification. In order to produce lyophilized ambient-temperature stable LAMP assays, specific primers need to be added to Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP prior to lyophilization.
Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP does not contain animal-derived components, aligning with evolving regulatory trends toward more sustainable in vitro systems, reducing reliance on animals while offering cost-effective, room-temperature stability through a lyophilization-ready formulation.
Key points:
- Ideal for point of care diagnostic platforms.
- Reduce risk of carryover contamination.
- Concentrated 4x master mix.
- Contains all the required excipients for subsequent lyophilization.

FAQs: Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP
The key difference between loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) and quantitative PCR (qPCR) lies in how DNA amplification is achieved. LAMP operates at a constant temperature, eliminating the need for thermal cycling. In contrast, qPCR requires precise cycling through multiple temperature stages using a thermocycler.
Instead of using high temperatures to denature DNA, LAMP relies on specialized polymerases, such as Bst DNA polymerase, that have strong strand displacement activity. This allows DNA amplification to occur rapidly and efficiently at a single temperature. As a result, LAMP can produce detectable amounts of DNA in under an hour, and sometimes in as little as 10 minutes.
Yes, it is possible to design a multiplex LAMP test using different primers and probes.
Yes, the Lyo-Ready LAMP and Lyo-Ready RT-LAMP 1-Step Mixes (including Lyo-Ready AOF dUTP DNA LAMP) can be used as a liquid mix or lyophilized and stored for up to 24 months without affecting the sensitivity of the tests.
