NGAL Antigens
Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL), also known as Lipocalin-2, is a glycoprotein involved in various physiological processes, including the innate immune response and iron transport. Traditionally recognized as a biomarker for kidney injury, recent studies have highlighted its significance in cardiovascular diseases.
