snRNPC Antigens
The U1 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein C (U1 snRNP-C) is a component of the U1 snRNP complex, which plays a crucial role in pre-mRNA splicing. Autoantibodies targeting U1 snRNP-C are commonly found in patients with mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD) and, to a lesser extent, in those with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). These autoantibodies are significant in the diagnosis and differentiation of autoimmune diseases.
